[It was the screaming that first caught his attention. A panicked cry that he was used to hearing, unfortunately enough. Or, perhaps, fortunately. Or else he might have just brushed the sound off as maybe a monster or just someone getting spooked.
He knew better than that though, and, for the second time in just a few short days, he snatched up his coat and scarf and headed out quickly, keen hearing telling him roughly where the frightened stranger might be.
... The graveyard.
Well... that would explain the screaming, he was sure. He heard a snippet of a familiar name, which only caused him to speed up, worried quite frankly, that the owner of said half uttered name had finally snapped and taken it upon himself to remove any trespassers at all from the churches ground.
Instead... well...
Oh, here was a familiar scene. Rather, a familiar face, cheekily tugging on the holy garment like it was a tug of war rope.
Thankfully, Abel knew he didn't have to expend his bullets on the beast.
With a sigh, the taller priest simply trotted over, lay his hands on the shambling grotesque, and simply... tipped it over.
WHUMP.
And the scarf was free.
He offered a sheepish, though reassuring smile to the poor man.]
