[✝]Daniel 12:2
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake.
Some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.[✝]
[☨]It's late by now, and by the time the camera flickers on to spy on the man, it's already a little too dark in the room to see. Light from the hospital hallway gives a dim view of Maxwell drearily coming in and out of sleep. With a moan he rolls over, not wanting to wake up, but at the same time, not wanting to go back to dreaming that dream again. Shifting, he hears the bed give an unfamiliar creak, and as meticulous as he was, he knew..[☨]
This isn't my bed.
[☨]Dizzily he sat up in the dark, glancing with contemptible disdain to the blinking screen.[☨]
Oh will you get behind me already? I don't know where I am, and you're the last thing I want to see.
[☨]Curling his finger, he gives the screen a flick, snapping if off.[☨]
((ooc: Abel-mun, say he went back to sleep, and he can awake to find Abel there for whenever you get back! <3 ))

Action!
Date: 2009-11-23 06:53 am (UTC)Sir Hellsing told me that she wanted me to inform her if something happened, yes.
As of late however, I don't really think Sir Hellsing needs to know anything about this without your consent. It's a personal matter and it's your own choice on who you want to have know about the situation. She's not your mother after all, nor my employer, and I'm not your nanny.

You're certainly something else, Father Nightroad.
Action!
Date: 2009-11-23 07:04 am (UTC)Would that be a compliment or just an observation?

Date: 2009-11-23 07:18 am (UTC)[The archbishop knew not what this man was. Barely understood where he came from. And only knew that the Church of his distant future accepted him as a guardian, like Anderson to his own.]
You'll have to excuse my wonderment about you.
[Abel was not your ordinary priest, it was natural that the man be questionable about him, wasn't it? Their presents differed so greatly, and choking such revelations down was admittedly difficult for the lowly human.]

Date: 2009-11-23 07:24 am (UTC)[And Abel saw no need to explain it. Right now, Maxwell knew only a touch less about him than Integra truly did. He hoped to keep it that way. Neither of them needed to know everything, and what little information they had suited him just fine.]
I'm used to it by now, that's okay.
[Abel, on the other hand, only wished to watch over Enrico. He'd ask no prying questions. Anything he needed to know, he could learn through simply watching the Archbishop, and he had all the time and patience in the world to do so. Thanks already to Anderson, Alucard and Integra, he already had a fairly good grasp so far on what the past, Enricos present, was like. But what of the man? He had his picture almost entirely pieced together already.]

Date: 2009-11-23 07:42 am (UTC)Such a burden to be used to...
[Idle hands took to folding his bloodied handkerchief into smaller and smaller squares as he dwelled on that. He himself carried all the burden of the Vatican on his shoulders. Every demon they incurred the wrath of fell directly on him.
And he himself accepted it with all his heart and soul.]
Never a dull day for you, I imagine.

Date: 2009-11-23 05:38 pm (UTC)It's not so bad. I've had a while to get used to it.
[As well he knew the duties of an Archbishop. It seemed almost like an endless job, so much work for someone who wasn't a Cardinal.]
Not really. The off days are pretty nice though.

I remember those, vaguely.
[Sometime during his childhood, he supposed, that part of his life he was at a constant war to blank out completely.]
I suppose this place is somewhat a vacation for you? Dreary a resort-spot as it is.
